Hosting Rules

General Rules

  1. Have minimal design skills. Trust me, I'm not too picky, but I still do have a minimal limit, you know?

  2. No .mp3, audio or movie files. Yeah, you can link them from your sites, but you have to use a place like savefile, yousendit, 4shared, etc.

  3. Do not steal! Do not use other people's graphics, scans, etc without permission. If you do, I reserve the right to go into your files and delete them from my server and your webspace.

  4. You get 1GIG of space plus 5GIG of bandwidth, but we can always work out more if you need it. However, it's up to you to contact me and ask.

  5. Yes, I do host shounen-ai, shoujo-ai, yaoi, yuri, hentai, and shota (just be responsible and mark it). I don't care how hardcore it is, either. Go for it.

  6. Don't worry, I don't have any stipulation about talking to me. You don't have to email me, have a personal relationship with me, comment on my blog, talk to me on IM... I'm not talkative. You can go months and months and never say a word to me, I don't mind. But, if you need to go on hiatus or something happens with your site, I'd like to know. You can either send me an email or tell me in the Hostee section of my Forum.

  7. If your site goes dead for more than 3 months (fanlisting) or 4 months (other sites), I will email you and ask what's up. I know that people vanish from the web, so if you have no use for my space anymore, I'd like to know. Just email me or post a note the Hostee section of the Forum.

  8. And... er (feels like a tool for adding this rule), link back to the site you're hosted on.

  9. When I email you your information, you have a week to reply or get something up. I won't email you a, "hey, I sent your stuff... are you moving in" email. I'm not going to track you down and make you move in-- I'm hosting here as a favor, not an obligation.

  10. Join the Forum so that you can receive updates about servers and moves, etc. I'll never send you bulk email because I hate those things.

  11. I am NOT your workhorse. Do NOT email me a million times asking me to install things, fix your HTML, or set up your website for you. I will do One Click Installs that my server has already installed and that is all. I will NOT install boards or scripts for you, and I will NOT help you work them out and customize them. DON'T email me asking me to do them for you or help you with them, for the love of God. I give you your database info when you request one and access to PHPMyAdmin, so you should be able to read instructions and do it yourself.

  12. If you move or close your site, you MUST tell me! I need to know what is going on. When you do move, I will keep your subdomain active for a full month and then delete everything from the system.
